They were once used as an introduction tool and were looked at more as an informative document rather than a potential creative design element.

  2. Colorful gradients against dark backgrounds - think pearly tones shimmering against a dark background for a VERY dramatic look!

The Reinvention of the QR Code - while the QR code has been around for years, with the pandemic and everyone limiting what they touch, many businesses will be implementing a QR Code to their cards for a more interactive experience for the person who has your card. Great for directing people to your website, product or menus.

  4. BIG BOLD Fonts, possibly engraved or embossed - simple, clean, minimal but yet striking! And by using the technique of engraving or embossing you will be adding a feature that presents quality and value and sure to WOW people.

  5. Printed Edges - this technique adds a sense of depth and 3 dimension to your cards that is very unique. It also has to be printed to a thicker card stock so it will feel like it has value

  6. Clever Complex Cut outs - get creative with Die Cuts! Add a cut out letter of your business name or an image that reflects your business for a very creative and fun element!

  7. Textured Surfaces - by choosing a material with a surface that is unusual will create curiosity with the person receiving your card. Try “soft touch”, Cork or recycled” materials or a “high gloss’ paper stock for a beautiful texture that will be remembered by the senses!
